A driver was accused of trying to run over a child on a bicycle in Spokane, Washington, on April 28. The woman drove on the sidewalk as she followed the child. The child was able to get out of the way on his electric bike and there were no injuries. The Spokane County Sheriff's Office said they found the woman at her house with her car in the driveway after searching the area. They claimed that the woman denied drinking at all, but later admitted that she had consumed alcohol. They also said the woman was charged with first-degree attempted assault, driving under the influence and first-degree criminal trespass.
