Cinda Howard, a resident of Greer, Arizona, said in a Facebook post that she was forced to evacuate after a “massive fire” broke out in the area. Howard said the fire began around 10:30 a.m. She is now staying at a local ranch northwest of Greer, and evacuation orders have been issued for residents in both Greer and South Fork, mandating others’ relocation as well. According to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management, the wildfire has burned more than 3,500 acres. It started on May 13 and remains active as of Tuesday, May 14, with high winds continuing to affect the fire’s containment.
