A total of 179 passengers and crew members aboard an American Airlines flight bound for Miami were forced to evacuate at Denver International Airport on July 26 due to a reported landing gear issue. The plane had experienced a maintenance problem involving a tire before taxiing onto the runway before takeoff. All passengers exited the aircraft safely; one person was taken to a hospital with a minor injury. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the incident.
