No. 17 BYU women's volleyball travels to No. 19 Baylor for key Big 12 matchup

No. 17 BYU women's volleyball is set to play No. 19 Baylor in Waco, Texas, Thursday at 6 p.m. MDT.

The Cougars are coming off a three-set sweep against Texas Tech. They are looking to head into its seventh Big 12 match and pick up their fifth win of the conference season.

BYU's offense has been led by freshman star Suli Davis, as she has just won Big 12 Rookie of the Week for the third time this season. Last week alone, she had 44 kills and a hitting percentage of .320. She has now played 18 matches with kills in the double digits, just in 2025.

Davis will be one to watch as the Cougars look to face the Bears.

Baylor is coming off a two-game win streak against Cincinnati and Kansas State. The Bears are sitting in seventh place in the Big 12 standings, just ahead of the eighth-place Cougars.

Baylor is 7-1 at home and is led by some freshman stars, libero Morgan Madison and outside hitter Ksenia Rakhmanchik. This will be a great challenge for the BYU offense.

The Cougars are 2-1 against the Bears, with a recent three-set sweep last year. With both teams ranked in the top 20, this should be a competitive matchup on both sides of the net.
