Men’s Cross Country takes 11th at the NCAA National Championships

The BYU Men’s Cross Country team took 11th at the NCAA National Championships on Nov. 22 in Columbia, MO.

The Cougars were led by freshman Tayvon Kitchen who placed 32nd with a time of 29:01. Following close behind was sophomore Noah Jenkins who placed 43rd with a time of 29:08.

Coming in third for the Cougars was junior James Corrigan who took 94th with a time of 29:33. senior Davin Thompson came in just a second behind Corrigan in 99th, with a time of 29:34. Grabbing the last point scoring position for the Cougars was sophomore Max Davis, placing 141st with a time of 29:53.

Closing out the race for BYU were seniors Jacob Stanford and Luke Grunvig. They placed 179th and 188th with times of 30:16 and 30:23.

Only 1 minute and 22 seconds separated BYU’s first runner from their last.

This race has concluded the 2025 cross country season for the Cougars.
