The BYU men’s golf team is off to a strong start to the season, placing in the top five as a team in each of its first three tournaments.

Nationally ranked and amateur golfer Patrick Fishburn ended his collegiate career with a 35th-place finish at nationals on Monday, May 28. He was the only BYU golfer to qualify for nationals after the team finished 24th at regionals.

The BYU men’s golf team shot back-to-back 278’s (10-under-par) in the second and final rounds of the NCAA Norman Regional to finish 13-under-par and advance to the NCAA Championships later this month.

BYU junior Rose Huang was the only member of the BYU women’s golf team to qualify for NCAA nationals, as the No. 41 ranked team finished ninth overall at the NCAA Austin Regional on May 9 at the University of Texas Golf Course.
