BYU women's volleyball takes on the Kansas State Wildcats Friday in Smith Fieldhouse at 6 p.m.
The Cougars will prepare to bounce back after falling to the unranked UCF Knights on Wednesday night, 3-1.
Despite Kansas State being unranked in the national rankings, the Wildcats are coming off two big conference wins. Kansas State upset No. 14 Kansas on the Jayhawks' home court.
Before coming to Provo, Kansas State also took down Utah in Salt Lake City. The Wildcats are continuing to build momentum going into Friday’s game against BYU.
BYU leads the all-time series against Kansas State, 4-3, and the Cougars are 2-1 in Provo. The Cougars are looking to put a stop to the Wildcats' winning streak.
During Wednesday night's game, Alex Bower reached 2,000 career assists. She continues to command the offense going into her second year. Her team will continue to lean on her abilities to play the court and place the ball where it needs to be against Kansas State.
Another key aspect to help the Cougars end up on top will be hitting high and well. BYU has the nation's 19th-best hitting percentage, at .280.
The Cougars have also recorded more kills than its opponent in 18 of its 21 matches in 2025.
