BYU women’s soccer announced 13 athletes who earned honors to the 2025 Fall Academic All-Big 12 Team.
The Academic All-Big 12 Team honors student-athletes who excel both in competition and in the classroom. These awards were distributed to the fall sports that competed throughout last semester.
A total of more than 1,000 student-athletes across the Big 12 earned Fall Academic honors.
Student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or above during the previous two semesters in order to be eligible for the award.
Additionally, athletes must have participated in at least 20% of the team's scheduled games. Freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible to receive the award.
The thirteen student-athletes that qualified for the Big 12 Fall Academic Team include: senior Mackenzee Vance, junior Ellie Walbruch, junior Ella Rustand, sophomore Mattyn Summers-Oviatt, junior Chelsea Peterson, junior Emma Neff, sophomore Ella Labrum, sophomore Mika Krommenhoek, sophomore Lucy Kesler, junior Avery Frischknecht, sophomore Presley Freeman, junior Halle Dixon and sophomore Emma Hamberlin.
The honorees included one senior, six juniors, and six sophomores. Several of the athletes earned Academic All-Big 12 honors for the second consecutive season.
The recognition showcases the program’s commitment to excellence in the classroom while meeting the demands of a competitive fall season.
