BYU football lands first-ever jersey patch sponsorship

BYU athletics has announced a multi-year agreement with Entrata, a technology company based in Lehi, Utah.

This is the first jersey patch sponsorship agreement to be made with BYU football.

The patch will appear on all BYU football jerseys starting this season, the first of two jersey patch sponsorships that are now allowed by the NCAA to help schools generate revenue for their athletic programs.

“We are grateful for this new sponsorship with Entrata and excited to welcome them to the BYU athletics family,” said BYU athletic director Brian Santiago. “Entrata brings great value to BYU athletics. We are excited about this new relationship and anticipate a bright future.”

Entrata will work with BYU to help strengthen and support local communities across Utah. This includes helping student-athletes gain experience in community service, something that BYU athletics emphasizes as a part of their mission to have a positive impact outside of sports.

Entrata CEO Adam Edmunds described the company’s excitement as it partner with BYU.

“We’ve always believed in investing where we are. This relationship lets us work alongside one of the premier programs in the country,” he said. “We’re excited to be joining Cougar Nation and play our part in what’s ahead.”

The company will not just have a jersey patch, but will be working with BYU to help boost in-venue branding, digital activation and fan engagement opportunities.
