The countdown to football season just got a little more real for BYU fans.
The Big 12 officially announced kickoff times and TV designations for several football games this fall, adding more details to BYU football’s 2026 season schedule.
The conference released game times and broadcast information for the first few weeks of the season, along with select weekday games later in the year. BYU had four games included in the announcement.
BYU’s season opener against Utah Tech on Sept. 5 will kick off at 6 p.m. MDT and stream on ESPN+.
One week later, the Cougars will host Arizona in their Big 12 opener at LaVell Edwards Stadium. That game is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. MDT kickoff and will air nationally on FOX. BYU’s road matchup against Colorado State on Sept. 19 is set for a 5:30 p.m. MDT kickoff and will be broadcast on CBS.
The Big 12 also previously announced that BYU’s matchup against Iowa State on Oct. 9 was selected as a featured Friday night game and will be broadcast on ESPN.
The conference said more kickoff times and network designations for the rest of the 2026 season will be announced later this year.
