The Primary General Presidency for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was released, with three new sisters called.
President D. Todd Christofferson made the announcement during the Saturday afternoon session of the April 2026 General Conference.
Rosemary K. Chibota, 58, was called as president, with Nina M. Garfield, 67, as first counselor and Theresa A. Collins, 64, as second counselor.
President Chibota was raised in Zimbabwe and now lives in South Jordan, Utah; Sister Garfield was born in Japan and lives in Orem; and Sister Collins is from Draper, Utah.
The previous presidency — Susan H. Porter, Amy A. Wright and Tracy Y. Browning — had served since April 2, 2022.
General presidencies typically serve five years, though this presidency served four.
The new presidency will begin its service on August 1, 2026.
Additionally, President Christofferson stated that 75 Area Seventies were released.
