A popular exhibit at the Memphis Zoo is temporarily closed down after an ape got excited while interacting with a group of teens and broke the inner layer of safety glass. The teens said they were joking and banging their chests a little, but did not intentionally rile up the primate. The teens alerted the zoo staff immediately and a zoo curator said that the teens were not to blame.
