Matswagothata expressed a similar sentiment. "May I invite you to choose to remember Him and follow Him not casually or occasionally, but deliberately and always," he said.

These invitations are especially relevant as many have prepared to celebrate Easter.

Lainey Holderness, a conference attendee, said, "I love the chance to celebrate Christ's resurrection and think about how He's the why of our church, and so we get to focus on that this weekend."

"The fact that it's actually when Christ was resurrected and we can talk about that, I just love that it's during this spring season," said Dylan Pugmire, another conference attendee.

Elder Grald Causs delivered his first address as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve. His message testified to the love of God and of the Savior.

"I bear witness of this truth: God and His Son Jesus Christ love all and They love each," he said.

Whether through speakers or music, these Christ-centered messages were meaningful for many members of the Church.

"I love the peace and the warmth that it brings hearing messages from the prophet," Pugmire said.

Sister Fisiliu, a conference attendee and missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, said, "Every time I come to conference, I can feel the spirit so strong and I can feel the love of our Savior Jesus Christ so strong, and I think that's my favorite part about coming to Conference."

"I like to come to General Conference to hear the words of the prophet because it brings me so much happiness and joy," said Mia Winterton, a conference attendee.

The conference center will reopen tomorrow as attendees gather to hear messages on Easter Sunday.
