That continued study can look different for everyone.

Well every morning, Im a college student, so every morning when I walk to class I listen to a talk and write down my thoughts before class or work or wherever Im going, and try to find whats most applicable for me in that moment, BYU Idaho student Zach Jenkins said. As long as I keep listening to them, Ill pull something different every time.

Tabernacle choir member Terra Huff added her thoughts about continuing her study from conference talks.

Im so excited to go back and just listen to them all over again, but also sit down and ponder them. I like to ponder them and do them with my family, and so that we can listen to them together, Huff said.

I love how theyre available just within a day or two. I try to listen to them as I drive to work, and just contemplate some of the messages that they have, conference attendee Kirk Hunt said.

Every day I listen to just one talk and I journal what I learn for that day, attendee Gabriel Martinez said.

The lessons people learn from the conference messages allow them to act in ways that help them grow in their discipleship. Elder Kearons talk emphasized this as he spoke about lifting others spiritually.

And oh the joy that comes when others experience lift circling upward with us in the love and light of Jesus Christ. As children of the covenant we are privileged with the responsibility of assisting the Lord in fulfilling His promises to all of His children, Elder Kearon said.

We all need somebody. We all need to help, we need a helping hand, and as we look after that person, we can probably feel more like the Savior, conference attendee Jonathan Tirado said.

Elder Hutch U. Fale also emphasized the importance of showing love to others as he testified of Heavenly Fathers love for each of his children.

You are His child and He loves you. He loved you before you were born, He loves you today, and He will love you tomorrow. He wants you to prepare to be like Him. You must never forget this, Elder Fale said.

For conference attendee Luisa Pope, these words taught her a lesson in her role as a grandmother.

I think now as a grandmother it motivates me to be there for them. To teach them the gospel and I am forever grateful for that. Pope said.

Those are just two of many lessons to be learned from the words spoken by church leaders today.

To study the messages from this general conference session and others, all talks can be found at churchofjesuschrist.org.
