People from all over the world fly into California to experience the amusement park.

Amanda and Chris Provost run an Instagram account @provostparkpass where they share fun Disney content, including tips on how to save money on Disney trips.

Our full-time job is our YouTube channel; it's our full career. The channel snowballed and kept growing and growing, and we were able to make the switch from it being a hobby to making it into a career, Amanda Provost said.

Disneyland annual pass prices have skyrocketed in recent years. California residents report that while they used to pay just $150 for the Southern California resident Disneyland annual pass, the price now sits at $599. This is the cheapest annual pass, whereas the highest access, the Inspire Key pass, is priced at $1,899.

Anne Seelos, a resident of Kaysville, Utah, shared her experience of holding an annual pass while living in Utah.

If you take a three-day trip or a five-day trip, once a year, it is already going towards an annual pass. So it could be half of the pass or a third of the pass, and if you go three times a year, then it already pays for it, Seelos said.

Each day is priced differently for a single Disneyland ticket. Danielle Nelson, who shares her theme park experiences on Instagram @daniellesfandomfaves, explained how low-tier tickets will be cheaper on days that the park is emptier. However, a top-tier ticket will be the most expensive when it covers busier days, including weekends, holidays and summertime.

You have to kind of factor in how many times you're going to go, when you're going, if they're higher-priced days. For some people, having a pass makes it worth it because then you're not paying the higher ticket price, Nelson said.

The families interviewed found that, for their lifestyle, purchasing a pass while living in Utah is worth the cost. Ashley Dixon, a Disney influencer who shares tips and tricks for Disneyland planning on Instagram, says she understands why it might not be the best option for some.

I feel like there comes almost a pressure to say, we have to get our money's worth. We can only go to Disney. It's almost like a commitment for the full year to Disney for as far as like your vacations, Dixon said.

Influencers shared that the best way to go to Disney is to look for the best deals.

Disneyland is expensive and can get really expensive. Dont pay the full price, look at the deals, and kinda go from there, Dixon said.

Although it may not become the norm for many Utah residents, some will still pay the high price because, for them, it truly is the happiest place on Earth.
