The Jerusalem Center has outlined its travel restrictions for students and Center residents, eliminating travel to East Jerusalem and the Old City except for the Christian and Armenian quarters.

The tax bill that passed the House included a provision to repeal the Johnson Amendment, a 1954 law that prohibits nonprofit and religious organizations from endorsing or opposing political candidates and from participating in political campaigns.
