BYU teaches more language courses than any college in the United States

Brigham Young University now offers an astounding 84 non-English language courses — more than any other U.S. university. Among BYU’s offerings are some of the world’s rarer languages, including Hmong, Navajo, Kiribati and several Central American indigenous languages.

BYU provides many language opportunities outside of a degree, including a language certificate recognized by ACTFL, year-round immersive language housing, language study abroad programs and service opportunities.
