BYU football signs transfer receiver Darius Lassiter

BYU has wasted no time in attempting to soften the blow of losing Kody Epps, landing Eastern Michigan receiver Darius Lassiter out of the transfer portal Tuesday.

Lassiter caught 40 passes for 471 yards and four touchdowns in 2022, averaging 11.8 yards per reception. The Chandler, Arizona native has two seasons of eligibility remaining to serve as an impact starter for the Cougars and give Kedon Slovis another weapon in his arsenal.
