Southwest Airline employees retrieved a customer’s phone from the runway after leaving the gate at Long Beach Airport on Nov. 13.
The flight was already boarded and pushed back from the gate when airport gate employees realized a phone was left in the gate area. Gate area employees notified the pilot who suggested the ramp agents jump the phone up to reach the cockpit.
