Demolition experts imploded three cooling towers at the Paradise Coal Plant in Drakesboro, Kentucky on Nov. 10.

The coal plant served the area for 59 years, and the three 435-foot towers were the largest of their kind at the time they were built. All three towers were retired in 2020.

The Paradise Coal Plant is currently being redeveloped.
