Utah Trooper R. Jensen responded to calls about a wrong-way vehicle traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-215 West near Salt Lake City.
Jensen successfully intercepted the vehicle, forcing it off the roadway and into a shallow pond.
Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were cleared by medical on the scene.
