The Utah Ukrainian Association held a march and rally Saturday, March 12, in Salt Lake City.
About 300 people came to the “Stand With Ukraine” march event to send a message to the government and bring awareness to the invasion in Ukraine. People showed up dressed in blue and yellow, the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
The group that organized the rally said they want the government to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine, help stop crimes against humanity by Russia and provide military aid to Ukraine.
The nonprofit organization’s goal is to address various humanitarian needs in Ukraine with the help of the Utah community.
