Houston Heimuli, a recent BYU football transfer, recreated the “Turbo Tongan” poster to help raise funds to send aid to Tonga as the country recovers from a tsunami.

The original poster featured Heimuli’s father, Lakei Heimuli, in front of a lifted truck. Lakei Heimuli played for BYU from 1983 to 1986 and was the first Tongan to play in the NFL.

“We’ve been sending supplies over for our family and this is just something else that I felt like could help out a lot,” Houston Heimuli said.

The poster features Houston posing in front of a monster truck while wearing Tongan apparel. The proceeds from the sales of the poster will be donated to cleanup efforts in Tonga. They are for sale at tongatough.org.
