Utah ranks in top 10 for most dangerous national park

Outforia released a ranked list of the most dangerous national parks in the country and Zion National Park ranked 10th in the U.S. The site used data from the number and causes of deaths in national parks from 2010 to 2020.

Zion National Park had 43 deaths with 22 caused by fall-related incidents. Canyonlands in Moab ranked number 24 with 13 deaths. Arches and Capitol Reef both ranked at 31 with six deaths, and Bryce Canyon was number 42 with three deaths.

Those who plan to visit these beautiful parks should be sure to take the necessary precautions to stay safe when visiting.
