Brigham Young University is #15 on the first college football playoff rankings.
This comes after the shootout against Virginia which ended with BYU beating Virginia 66-49. The cougars are the second highest rated team outside the Power Five conferences, only behind number six, Cincinnati.
This week BYU will play Idaho State in Provo for the last home game of the season.
