SALT LAKE CITY — Wild Wednesdays is back at Utah’s Hogle Zoo! From now through December, you can visit Utah’s Hogle Zoo every Wednesday completely free of cost.

There are no tickets that need printing, no age limit, absolutely no strings attached.

The zoo will be closed on Christmas which falls on a Wednesday, but Wild Wednesdays will continue the last week of January and February.

“It’s Wild Wednesday season,” says Erica Hansen, public relations coordinator for the park. “Wild Wednesdays were traditionally the last week of November, December, January and February, but we are wrapping up a decade of growth and change and we really want to thank the community for support, so we are adding more Wild Wednesdays.”

Zoo goer Michael Otska says, “My two kids can run around and have a good time and look at the animals; it’s a very good time.”

Hansen adds, “[Wild Wednesdays is] normally our way of thanking Salt Lake County taxpayers and their support of the Zoo Arts and Parks program, but the free admission is for everyone. So we really just want everyone to come see all the growth and all the change and just really enjoy the zoo.”
