Ancient ‘Iceman’ shows signs of a well-balanced last meal

Scientists were able to discover what the last meal of a frozen hunter who died more than five millennia ago was. The ancient iceman, known as Oetzi the Iceman, consumed the fat and meat of a wild goat, meat of a red deer and whole wheat seeds before his death. Traces of fern leaves and spores were also discovered in Oetzi’s stomach. This was the first time researchers were able to look into Oetzi’s stomach.

Serena Williams will be advancing to her 10th Wimbledon Tennis Championship final after defeating competitor Julia Goerges during their semifinal match Thursday. This will be Serena’s 30th title match at any major, and she’s also closing in on her 24th Grand Slam title, which would equal Margaret Court’s all-time record.

‘Game of Thrones’ earns a leading 22 Emmy Award nominations

Television series “Game of Thrones” has reached 22 Emmy nomination awards and became the most-nominated series of all time, beating previous title holder “ER” with 129 nods.

The hashtag #buildabear is trending on Twitter after outraged customers were disappointed by the toy company closing shops in the U.S. An overwhelming amount of people showed up to partake in Build-A-Bear’s deal where the price customer’s have to pay is the age of the child. Thousands of people waited in line for hours only to be informed that they had to go home.

The #ColleyTrial is trending on Twitter. James Colley allegedly shot and murdered his estranged wife and her friend Lindy Dobbins back in 2015. On one of the 911 calls, James Colley’s wife Amanda was recorded begging for her life before she was shot. James Colley admits to pulling the trigger, but blames being under the influence of drugs for the murders. If convicted, Colley will be eligible for the death penalty.
