Monday marked the deadliest day in Gaza after 59 Palestinians were killed and 2,700 others were injured at a mass protest from across a border fence. Israel is now facing major backlash for its use of excessive violence against Gaza.

Police have decided to stop digging in Detroit for the remains of seven girls who have been missing for decades. They are evaluating whether to dig in different locations in Michigan, or to resume the search in roughly the same area.

Tom Wolfe, pioneering ‘New Journalist,’ dead at 87

Tom Wolfe, who has authored bestselling books in the ’80s like “The Right Stuff” and “The Bonfire of the Vanities,” passed away. He is known for insisting that the only great way to tell a story was to go out and report it.
