The 2017 LDS Church statistical report was announced during General Conference, indicating an increase in total membership.
In total, there were 16,118,169 members worldwide as of Dec. 31, 2017, including 106,771 new children of record and 233,729 converts baptized.
There were 3,341 stakes, 553 districts and 30,506 wards and branches in operation.
The church had 421 missions with 67,049 full-time missionaries and 36,172 church-service missionaries.
Four temples were dedicated in 2017 in Paris, France; Tucson, Arizona; Meridian, Idaho; and Cedar City, Utah respectively. The Idaho Falls, Idaho temple was the only temple rededicated during 2017. By the end of 2016, 159 temples were in operation.
