The sixth annual Courageous Kids Invitational returned to Provo on Sept. 28, with around 200 participants competing in track and field events to benefit children with special needs.
230 children with special needs and their family members participated in the event at the BYU track competing in the 50-meter dash, 400-meter dash, long jump, high jump, javelin, shot put, discus and the mile run. The event was put on by Lionheart Innovations, a technology company that seeks to simplify caregiving for ill children.
