Gene Wilder, star of “Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” passed away on August 29, 2016.
Along with Willie Wonka, Wilder is best known for his roles in “The Producers”, “Young Frankenstein” and “Blazing Saddles”.

Wilder passed because of Alzheimers disease, which he knew he had but kept hidden from the public, according to Wilder’s lawyer.
Wilder is survived by his wife of 25 years Karen Wilder and his legacy of making others smile. Many have reached out to the family across social media to mourn Wilder’s loss together.
