LOGAN, Utah (AP) — Pokemon Go players in Logan will have to find a different place to catch nighttime-specific monsters as city officials are reminding residents that parks and trails are closed after dark.
The Herald Journal reports that the Logan Department of Parks and Recreation has received a number of complaints about people lurking around private property or gathering in large groups at night since the popular mobile game was released.
Pokemon Go uses GPS to link in-game creatures to real world locations, meaning players are out and about in order to complete the game.
The Parks and Recreation department has issued a release warning all residents and especially Pokemon players that going in public parks after dark is trespassing.
