BYU students jump into virtual reality with Google Cardboard

BYU students tried virtual reality for their first time using an iPhone and Google Cardboard.

Google Cardboard is a cheap alternative to more expensive virtual reality headsets like the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive. Users experience 360 degree video by downloading apps and placing their phones inside the cardboard box. Google Cardboard comes equipped with special lenses to create a 3D effect.
