BYU

Theft

May 2- A $200 bike was reported stolen to BYU Police from the Industrial Education lab between April 28-29. The bike was locked, though not to a fixed object. No suspects have been identified.

April 30- Another $200 bike was reported missing from Heritage Halls. No known suspects.

April 28- A 2003 Chevy Cavalier was reported stolen from BYU parking lot 45 at 4:00 p.m. It was later recovered after a supposed joy ride at the east end of Lot 19, missing $450 cash, a credit card, social security card and food stamp. The vehicle was left blocking the roadway and was issued a ticket. The ticket has since been voided.

April 22- Two bicycles were reported stolen from Helaman Halls, Budge and May Halls between 3 and 4 p.m.


Provo

Drugs and Alcohol

April 23- A person was found in possession of hallucinogen drugs at 900 Block Terrace Dr around 2 a.m.

April 22- Two incidences of meth possession were identified at 10 and 11 a.m. One occurred one block north of 500 West, the other occurred at 800 E 50 South St.

April 22- At 8 a.m. police reported an incident of alcohol abuse around the 500 block on Center St. At 11 a.m. in the same location, police found a person with meth possession. In the same vicinity around 9 p.m., a person was reported driving under the influence.

Disorderly Conduct

April 22- Police were notified of disorderly conduct at the Harold B. Lee Library around 1 p.m.

Sexual Assault

April 23- A rape occurred around 2 a.m. at the block of 1800 W 80 South St. No suspect has been identified but police are continuing the investigation.


Orem

Theft

April 25- A woman was reported stealing a baby monitor from the Orem Target. The police responded and were unable to find the woman.

April 25- A woman at Walmart was caught shoplifting. After her arrest for this felony, she was also found to be in possession of meth and other paraphernalia.

Drugs and Alcohol

April 25- Orem police officer stopped a vehicle and discovered a woman who had a warrant out for her arrest. The woman fled the scene but after a quick four-block pursuit she turned herself into police and was arrested for fleeing the police, police assault, child endangerment, possession of drugs and a felony warrant.

April 25- A woman was found to have warrants out for her arrest and in possession of heroin, meth and other pills after being stopped by police at Ridley’s. She has since been arrested and taken to jail.

Suspicious and Disorderly Activity

April 28- Three people were seen knocking door-to-door in an Orem neighborhood and walking inside when no one answered. The people were supposedly selling cleaning supplies but have not yet been found nor identified.

April 25- Police are investigating two suspicious car fires in Orem.

Fraud

April 25- A Dr. reported a person potentially filling out fraudulent prescriptions. Police are investigating.
