“I’m happy for the guys and excited that we could win the conference,” said BYU head coach Shawn Olmstead. “But as I’ve told (the team) it’s still far from anything. We’ve got to stay the course and keep getting better.”

The Cougars ended the regular season at 19-3, holding their No. 1 ranking heading into the MPSF tournament next weekend.

BYU defeated USC in dominating fashion again holding the Trojans to a .016 hitting percentage. The Cougars posted an efficient .441 clip on the night.

Brenden Sander lead the match with eight kills and an ace. Ben Patch and Price Jarman both contributed seven kills.

The 4,000 fans in attendance cheered on the seniors as they closed out the last set of their senior night. Carson Heninger delivered the last kill of the match to seal the victory. The Cougars will lose six seniors to graduation next season.
