BYU baseball falls to Arizona

The BYU baseball team was handed just their fourth loss of the season as they fell to the University of Arizona 11-5 on Monday afternoon.

The Cougar pitching staff gave up seven walks and eight of the 11 earned runs for the Wildcats came with two outs. Right handed pitcher Jordan Wood recorded the loss for BYU.

Freshman right fielder Keaton Kringlen was the highlight of the day for BYU. Kringlen went 2-4, both hits home runs. He collected three RBIs on the day.

The Cougars moved to 23-4 on the season with the loss.

BYU will continue their home stand and will look to get back on track as they face the University of San Diego in a three-game series beginning on Thursday, April 7.
