No. 2 BYU continues winning streak with win over No. 7 Hawai’i

The No. 2 ranked BYU men’s volleyball team extended its winning streak to 12 after defeating No. 7 Hawai’i Friday night.

The Cougars beat Hawai’i in four sets only dropping the third by a close 25-23 score. This was the first set BYU lost since January 23, the streak coming to an end at 35.

Ben Patch lead both teams with 17 kills and 6 blocks on the night. Jake Langlois and Brenden Sander each contributed 12 kills.

BYU hit a .286 clip compared to Wednesday night’s .464, allowing Hawai’i to keep the match closer. The Cougars won the first two sets 25-22 and the last 25-21.
