Junior forward Kalani Purcell has been named the West Coast Conference women's Player of the Week for the second week in a row on Monday morning.

Purcell led the Cougars to a victory over the Gonzaga Bulldogs and Portland Pilots last week and scored 31 total points, pulled in 27 total rebounds, and dished out 10 total assists. She tallied a double-double in both games for the Cougars and shot 52.4 percent from the field.
In the victory over the Bulldogs, Purcell tied her season-high with 17 points and added a game-best 16 rebounds. Against the Pilots Purcell nearly had a triple-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists. She also grabbed a career-high six steals.
Purcell finished the week of conference play averaging 15.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game. She helped BYU tie for first place in the conference after beating Gonzaga.
The Cougars host Loyola Marymount on Thursday and Pepperdine on Saturday.
