There’s no question that BYU freshman quarterback Tanner Mangum has become an overnight sensation.

The Cougar’s success with Mangum stands in stark contrast to their 0-4 record last season after losing starting quarterback Taysom Hill. BYU is currently poised for their most successful season since becoming an FBS Independent in 2011.

Sam Wilder approached JamesTheMormon  with the idea for a video two days ago early in the morning.

“By 3 a.m. we had the song written,” Curran said.

“When I like to make music, I like to have an inspirational undertone,” Curran said. “That hit me hard, watching this kid come right home from his mission and step up to the plate both times.”

BYU faces No. 10 UCLA on the road this week, and Cougar fans all across the country will certainly be “dreamin’.”
