Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will be in Utah next month as the keynote speaker for the crisis pregnancy fundraiser, held by the Pregnancy Resource Center.
The Pregnancy Resource Center is an anti-abortion center that is affiliated with an Evangelical Christian ministry. According to the center, it is 'dedicated to helping people unprepared for pregnancy with options counsel, practical resource and referrals.'
Palin is a popular speaker of anti-abortion, opposing abortion in almost all cases, including rape and incest, but not if the life of the mother is endangered. As the mother of a child with Down Syndrome and the parent of an unwed teen mother, Palin believes, as stated in a comment to the Wall Street Journal
The fundraiser will be held at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City on Oct. 2, tickets to the event start at $100.
