Performing artists from all around the world will make appearances at BYU for the 2015–2016 BRAVO! series. BRAVO! is a professional performing arts series hosted by BYU Arts.

The lineup for the next season encompasses 15 various artists and performing groups, including Kelli O’Hara, Renée Fleming, The King’s Singers and the National Dance Company of Siberia.

BRAVO! series producer Jeff Martin traveled worldwide to recruit and invite various artists to BYU.

“We work to present a diverse lineup of performances not only to enhance our own lives but also to expose our students and community to those artists currently functioning at the very highest levels of the performing arts today,” he said. “We are geographically isolated from some of the nation’s cultural centers, but we make it a priority for our patrons to be able to experience world-class performances right here at home.”

Martin visited Edinburgh, Scotland, where he found and invited two different performing groups to showcase their talent at BYU’s Off the Map theater festival to prepare for the upcoming season. This will be the third year for BYU’s Off the Map festival, displaying international theater as part of BRAVO!.

Broadway star and five-time Tony Award nominee O’Hara kicks off this season in September. She is one of four solo female artists who are part of this year’s series.

Soprano superstar and opera singer Fleming has won four Grammy Awards and received the National Medal of Arts. She is coming to BYU February 2016.

The King’s Singers have had a long history performing at BYU and will be returning again. They plan to perform a song with each of BYU’s elite choirs, including Concert Choir and BYU Singers.

The National Dance Company of Siberia will be traveling all the way from Russia. The Company features more than 50 dancers arrayed in costumes, dancing to traditional and popular folk music.

Season tickets packages go on sale Monday, May 11, for package renewals, and Monday, June 1, for new customers. Tickets for individual performances will be available for purchase approximately one month before the performance date. All BRAVO! performances happen in the Franklin S. Harris Fine Arts Center on the BYU campus.
