LAS VEGAS — The results are in for day one of #WCCMascotMadess, and so far it’s all chalk. Gonzaga’s Spike the Bulldog easily moved on to the next round with an overwhelming 76 percent, while Iggy the LMU Lion scraped by Gael Force One by receiving 56 percent of the vote. Spike now faces #2 Diego Torero of USD, and Iggy will go up against top-seeded Willie the Wave, from Pepperdine. Round two starts Saturday at 7:00 p.m. (PST) and will run until 5:00 p.m. (PDT) on Sunday.
