BYU football adds 21 players on National Signing Day 2015

National Signing Day on Wednesday was a day to celebrate for BYU Football. The Cougars signed 21 new players and recognized mid season signees.

Outside of the party, signing day for the cougars was buzzing on social media. Retweets of pictures of a 6-foot seven 410 pound recruit and personalized rap songs from the coaching staff sent Twitter into a frenzy.

This year, BYU signed a lot of players from Texas. “Last year we recruited a lot of Junior College players and this year we are trying to recruit freshmen who will have an immediate impact” head coach Bronco Mendenhall said. “We have a lot of good kids coming in.”
