Humans of BYU: October 1

From here on out, we’ll be posting one or two pictures on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The day I got accepted to Ballet West Academy was the happiest day of my life. I was 15 and got accepted under scholarship. I’ve been dancing since I was three. I’ve been healing from a back injury for three years, a stress fracture in my lower spine.

“What’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?”
“Wow … there’s so much. Am I allowed to say the Washington D.C. temple? My parents met there. My dad was at his best friend’s wedding—they were named John and Karen and my parents are John and Karen—and my mom was on her way home from her mission.”
