Theft

July 23 — Officers received a report of an unsecured bicycle taken from outside a bike rack. The bicycle was located in the bike rack. No theft had occurred.

July 28 — Officers received a report that an unsecured remote mouse was taken.

Trespassing

July 31 — An individual reported the unauthorized use of office equipment by an unknown individual.

Assault

July 23 – Officers responded to a report of a confrontation during a game at the RB.

Criminal Mischief

July 28 — An officer responded to a report that a vehicle was damaged by a key scraping the paint.

Aug. 1 — An unknown individual drove on the Spring Haven grounds, causing damage to the lawn and breaking a small tree.

Orem Police

Criminal Mischief

July 29 — Officers responded to a blown transformer in Orem. There were traffic delays until Rocky Mountain Power arrived at the scene.

July 30 — An Orem woman claimed that her roommate stole some hair products and poured honey on her bed.

Aug. 3 — A DUI driver fled the scene of an accident in Pleasant Grove. After a short pursuit the suspect crashed into a truck that was parked in the driveway of a home. The driver was not injured and was contained after the accident.

Drug Use

Aug. 4 — Officers responded to a noise complaint at a local hotel. While they were there they searched the room and found meth.

Aug. 4 — Officers stopped a car, and one of their canines, “Vedor,” sniffed out the passenger’s weed. The man was cited.

Aug. 4 – Police responded to a report of an odor of Marijuana coming from an apartment. When officers talked with the renter she gave up her weed and was cited.

Theft

Aug. 4 – A home in Orem was burglarized. A window was broken out and property was missing from inside the home.
