The Lindon Collision Center is hosting its fourth annual antique car show on Friday, May 9. Admission is free, and the event runs from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m..

“We do the show every year, and it’s basically a free event,” said Jessica Read, the center’s office manager. “You can bring your car, we give out free barbecue and everyone has a good time.”

The center also sells raffle tickets for trips to Las Vegas, gift certificates for local businesses and oil changes. Proceeds from the raffle go to charities the center chooses after the show. Last year they donated to Toys for Tots.

Read said the show started four years ago when the owner, her father, wanted to show people that the body shop experience at the center is not about getting scammed.

“When you go to our body shop, it’s not just about spending money,” Read said. “We want to show we do good work and you’re not going to come in and throw money down the drain.”

Pinstripers and local vendors set up booths at the event so patrons can also purchase their services.

“Come enjoy the food, the cars and see what we can do,” Read said.

Lindon Collision Center is located at 465 N. 1030 West in Lindon.
