John Lane, BYU student and aspiring artist, sings in Utah Valley venues as he develops his musical career.
Lane’s extended play (EP) has been released on iTunes. An EP is a musical recording with more than a single song but less than an album, which includes eight songs. His EP contains three recorded songs. Lane can also be found on Spotify,YouTube and Instagram. He plays once a week at Roll-up Cafe on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. Lane said he won’t play a song for an audience that he doesn’t feel personally moved by. His description of his genre of music is “vocally driven acoustic music.”
