BYU's Winter 2014 General Career Fair will be hosted in the Wilkinson Ballroom, Thursday, Jan. 30, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students are invited to attend to meet with potential employers for networking and career opportunities.

All students can attend regardless of age, major or experience. McKenzie Lawyer Davies, a BYU career counselor, advises that students make an effort to attend.

'Everyone should attend, even freshmen,' Lawyer Davies said. 'They are exposing themselves to future employers and getting themselves out there. There is no real pressure.'

Students looking to attend need to register, which can be done at the career fair or online beforehand at careerfair.byu.edu. Students who register online can upload their résumé and give potential employers access to it anytime.

Along with their electronic résumé, students should plan on bringing about five hard copies of their résumé. A list of companies that will be in attendance can be found online at the BYU career fair website.
