Hyundai asked colleges around the country to submit a video to their Lens of Loyalty contest proving why their fans were the best, and BYU came in first place.
The car dealership gave the seven finalist colleges $10,000 to produce a short video showing the pride of their fans in the school’s football team. For BYU’s video, director Lane Russell, a film major, chose to depict the loyalty of fans all around the world. From London to Fiji to South Africa, BYU fans proudly declare their devotion to their university. A few lucky fans were flown in to attend a football game in LaVell Edwards Stadium, and others were given BYU merchandise.
For coming in first in the competition, BYU will receive an additional $10,000. Watch the entire video here:
