No. 21 women’s volleyball to play last WCC road game

The No. 21 BYU women’s volleyball team heads to California to play the last road games in WCC as it faces San Francisco on Nov. 7 and Santa Clara on Nov. 9.

BYU (19-4, 12-1 WCC) remains at the top of the WCC standings after winning two home matches last week. The Cougars swept Loyola Marymount in three sets and beat Pepperdine in a nail-biting five-set match after being down two sets to none.

First, BYU will play San Francisco (11-11, 7-5 WCC) on Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. PST. When the two teams met up earlier this season, the Cougars swept the Dons. BYU has never lost to San Francisco.

Second, BYU will play Santa Clara (8-13, 3-9 WCC) on Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. PST. Earlier this season, the Broncos fell to the Cougars in four sets, and the Cougars lead the overall series between the two schools 5-1.
